The vision for the first stage of the Westmead Hospital Redevelopment is to create a contemporary paper-light digital environment, which supports the effective and efficient delivery of services.
Health Infrastructure is seeking to engage private sector expertise to define, confirm and document the challenges faced by the Westmead Redevelopment in achieving this vision and provide smart ideas and solutions to these problems, which are innovative, fit-for-purpose and affordable, noting that solutions should not just focus on Information and Communications Technology (ICT).
Further, having defined and agreed what needs to be achieved, Health Infrastructure is seeking a pragmatic implementation plan setting out a series of logical steps and investments and the resources required to deliver these.
Health Infrastructure seeks to achieve the following objectives through this EOI:
* To identify suitably experienced organisations to work with Health Infrastructure in the planning and delivery of major health infrastructure projects;
* To identify smart ideas and approaches that differentiate service providers and have the potential to provide improved project and service outcomes compared to traditional ICT focussed approaches; and
* Determine the most appropriate model under which to contract the Services.
