Urban and Rural Tree Works

⁠⁠⁠Wellington Council is responsible for a range of tree management works within road reserves and reserves throughout the shire. The majority of these works occur within towns. We are seeking contractors with suitable experience, qualifications and plant to undertake these activities for the two financial years 2015 to 2017. Activities include, tree removal, pruning, powerline pruning, stump grinding, tree watering and minor plant/operator hire (e.g. bobcat, small excavators).

The purpose is to develop a ‘panel’ of suitable qualified contractors to undertake the above works for a 2 year period (1 July 2015 to 30 June 2017). The tender is based on tenderers providing a schedule of rates for the various activities and no guarantee of works is implied. Tenders will be assessed on price, ability to meet quality standards, formal qualifications, timelines, measures of productivity and ability to be included on Council’s Approved Contractor Safety Information System.

Tenders should be lodged in the tender box at the Wellington Shire Council Sale Service Centre at 18 Desailly Street, Sale, no later than 2.00pm, Wednesday 10 June 2015.

The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. Late, email or facsimile tenders will not be accepted.
