Tender Description
The Department of Mines and Petroleum (DMP) is planning to undertake a drilling program in the south west of Western Australia.
This Request is for the provision of drilling engineering, project management and ancillary services for that program.
The DMP is seeking a single experienced contractor capable of assisting in engineering, planning and supervising the drilling activities. A range of ancillary activities may also be required.
The drilling programme comprises of one (1) well to be drilled to an approximate depth of 3,200 m: a suitable rig is currently being sourced for this purpose.
The DMP will be tendering for several of the technical services for this program separately. The successful Respondent will be required to work with the DMP to ensure that all technical specifications for the rig drilling services, on deployment, meet the DMP’s needs. These services may include, but are not limited to:
* Wireline logging;
* Mud logging; and
* Coring services.
The DMP may use all or part of the services requested herein at its discretion. The final list of services will be discussed with the successful Respondent.
Note: This project is not envisaged to be a full-time activity but will require time allocations from different skill sets.
