⁠⁠⁠Registrations of Interest are invited from suitably qualified entities to undertake the role of Managing Contractor for certain works on the basis described in the Invitation to Register Interest (ITR). The Commonwealth will then create a shortlist from which it will invite tenders for the proposed works.

At the time of issuing the ITR, the scope of works to support the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) Infrastructure project at the Army Aviation Centre Oakey (AACO) is to provide additional infrastructure required to support the deployment of an additional detachment of Boeing CH-47 airframes to the RSAF Helicopter Squadron’s facilities at the AACO, Queensland under an agreement between the Republic of Singapore and the Commonwealth of Australia. The infrastructure required includes the following:

* Refurbishment of existing RSAF helicopter training facilities;
* Construction of new support logistics/maintenance facilities; and
* Construction of airfield infrastructure.

At the time of issuing this ITR:

* The works are anticipated to commence in March 2016 with Completion on or before November 2017; and 
* The estimated value of the works is in the order of $50 million (exclusive of GST).

To submit a conforming Registration of Interest:

* The Registration of Interest must be submitted in accordance with clause 3.1(a)(i) (including submission to the address specified in the ITR by the closing time and date described in the ITR);
* The Registration of Interest must satisfy each minimum form and content requirement in clause 3.1(a)(ii); and
* The Applicant must satisfy each condition for participation in clause 3.1(a)(iii) of the ITR.

The evaluation criteria are described in clause 2 of the ITR.

The Australian Government's Building and Construction OHS Accreditation Scheme pursuant to the Fair Work (Building Industry) Act 2012 (Cth) and the Fair Work (Building Industry - Accreditation Scheme) Regulations 2005 (Cth) applies to this Project.
