Expression of Interest Furniture

⁠⁠⁠Wellington Shire Council is offering furniture from the Port of Sale Civic Centre, which is no longer required at Council sites after the relocation of its offices to Desailly Street, to eligible community groups free of charge.

The Desailly Street floorplan is very different to that of the Civic Centre.  Limited space within our administration offices has prevented reuse of a variety of items.  Where possible, we have reused items at other Council facilities including Aqua Energy and our libraries.

The remaining items are now surplus to Council requirements.  These include desks, bookcases, chairs and filing cabinets among other items.

Council understands that there are a number of community groups which may be able to make use of some of these items.  We invite any eligible group within the municipality to view and submit expressions of interest in order that they may benefit from these items.
