Tender Description
The City of Cockburn (the Principal) is seeking the services of a suitably qualified, experienced and licensed Building Contractor for the construction of additions to an existing sports clubroom and the relocation of cricket practice nets located on the Atwell Reserve, Brenchley Drive in Atwell.
A summary of the works include:
a) Atwell Reserve Clubrooms Extension
i North side of Building: Toilets & Store Rooms
ii Southside of Building: Additional Function Room
iii Existing window alteration to a door
b) Relocation of existing practice cricket nets.
It is envisaged that construction should commence early June 2015 for a period of 6 to 8 months.
The successful Contractor shall make consideration of the following:
1. Site safety management plan shall be submitted to address traffic management issues and exclusion zones.
2. Irrigation in the proposed areas of construction and decommission/alteration/commissioning of existing irrigation is required.
3. In the event, of heavy machinery (i.e. concrete trucks etc.) requiring access to the reserve (or sections of the reserve) a specified area is to be used as a setdown area; the method of access & location of this area must be agreed/accepted by the Principals Representative. The main concern is to ensure a minimal footprint is maintained and as far away as possible from the oval playing facilities.
