Enid Ave Parking Modifications and Associated Works, Granville

⁠⁠⁠Tenders are invited from experienced civil engineering contractors to construct Parking Bays along Enid Avenue, Granville, adjacent to the Granville Aquatic Centre. The project involves the construction of new kerb, new road pavement to Parking Bays, concrete footpaths, turf, tree planting, carriageway pavement correction, all to form indented Parking Bays and associated works along two legs of Enid Avenue, from Memorial Drive to the first bend at Granville Memorial Park.

The Works under the Contract shall include the provision of all labour, supervision, tools, materials, supplies, equipment, plant, transportation and services required to complete the works.

It is proposed to construct indented Parking Bays along Enid Avenue, Granville, in two stages, as follows:

Stage 1: Construction of Indented Parking Bays in Enid Avenue, from Memorial Drive for a distance of approximately 55 metres;
Stage 2: Construction of Indented Parking Bays in Enid Avenue, from the end of Stage 1 works to the first bend at Granville Memorial Park, for a distance of approximately 105 metres.

Council has allocated funding to construct the indented Parking Bays along Enid Avenue, Granville. Council may choose to proceed with Stage 1 OR Stage 2 OR Stage 1 and Stage 2 combined.

The works include the following significant features:

* New kerb (160 metres);
* New road pavement to Parking Bays (320 square metres);
* Concrete footpaths (285 square metres);
* Turf and tree planting;
* carriageway pavement correction.

A final decision will not be made regarding this Tender until the June 2015, with works anticipated to commence during July 2015.

No pre-tender meeting is proposed, however it is recommended that prospective Tenderers shall visit the project site to confirm 'scope of work', and if questions arise submit these via the Tenderlink forum or to tenders@parracity.nsw.gov.au
