Tender Description
The training to be developed is like an education, first aid course in recognising problematic ice use. It will help non-professionals (eg carers, family members, other concerned community members) to recognise when someone has an ice problem, how to distinguish ice use from other issues, practical support in de-escalating issues, getting treatment, and how to help in a crisis until professional medical help is available.
It would be available across Victoria - including rural and regional areas, and a component of the course would be targeted to specific population groups eg Aboriginal communities.
