Ararat Wind Farm will comprise of 75 wind turbines and associated infrastructure and will be located 10km north east of Ararat in Victoria. The project is expected to enter into construction in Q3 2015. The expected completion date will be in 2017. The project includes 52km of internal roads, a 33/132kV substation, an O&M facility and 70km of cable reticulation.

The tendering process is a 3 stage process and is as follows:

Stage 1
Businesses with an ABN who are interested in submitting an Expression of Interest should register here on the ICN Gateway and respond to the EOI.

Businesses without an ABN who are interested in submitting an EOI should visit www.ararat-windfarm.com and follow the instructions for registration.

The invitation for Expressions of Interest closes at 4.00pm on Friday 15 May 2015.

Stage 2
Companies will be selected from the EOI process to proceed to pre-qualification approval.

Those selected companies will be required to register on the I-Pro Live website to go through a pre-qualification process (if they are not already registered). Registration on I-Pro Live costs $275 inc. GST per annum for companies with no more than 5 employees and $550 inc. GST for companies with more than 5 employees.

Stage 3
Companies that achieve pre-qualification will be invited to tender and will be provided with detailed specifications of work and associated tender information.
