The Department of Education and Training is holding its annual briefing for principal design consultants, project managers and other key commercial partners to discuss the opportunities emerging from the Victorian Government’s 2015-16 State Budget to be delivered on Tuesday 5 May 2015.
Investment in education and school infrastructure is a priority for the Andrews Government which has announced a $1.3 billion Education Package.
The Government has committed to spending $530 million on school infrastructure projects over the next four years as well as $100 million on ten new technical education centres.
Julia Atkin, an independent education and learning consultant will deliver the key note address on Learning by Design.
We invite you to join us for the morning, ask questions of the panel and network with DET and INDEC staff and your colleagues over lunch.
The briefing will be held on Thursday 14 May, 9am – 2 pm in the Yarra Room, Melbourne Cricket Ground. The cost is $60pp with morning tea and lunch included.
