Tender Description
The Queensland Government is seeking tenders for the installation of a replacement front lead aid to navigation on Wild Cattle Island near Gladstone.
The main items of work include:
* Collect Principal supplied aluminium lattice tower from Gladstone MSQ operations base and verify number of replacement members to be supplied and fabricated.
* Supply and fabricate additional members.
* Cut off existing aluminium base plates and replace with larger base plates. Supply and fabricate stainless steel stud assemblies for base plate connections. Remove existing mesh from tower.
* Disassemble tower and prepare for transport and installation to Wild Cattle Island.
* Supply stainless steel bolts and fixings to replace existing tower fasteners.
* Supply stainless steel guy wires and associated stainless steel fixings to replace existing.
* Supply M12 nylon insulating washers (for both bolt head and nut) and lanolin grease for fastener insulation.
* Coordinate installation of screw pile footings with nominated subcontractor and position footings.
* Erect aluminium lattice tower and configure existing site compound, including modification of fencing and concrete plinth for solar panels.
* Relocate existing solar panel stand.
It does not include:
* Supply and install aluminium mounting bracket to suit SL48 lead light combined with VRL-74 lead light.
* Supply and install battery box and stand.
* Supply and install lights.
* All electronic installation.
