Tender Description
The Service Provider will provide its skills, expertise and resources in probity services, bringing to Transport for New South Wales substantial experience working with the NSW Government and its agencies on large public infrastructure projects.
Probity compliance is critical to the selection and management of major contractors and service providers for the NWRL and SRT projects. The Principal seeks not merely to avoid corrupt or dishonest conduct in its dealings with others but to apply and comply with public sector values and duties, including best value for money, impartiality, accountability, transparency and confidentiality.
The Service Provider will be responsible for providing Probity Advisory Services to the Principal in respect of NWRL and SRT major works contracts and service provider engagements, including the tasks and deliverables described in the Services Brief. The SRT component of the work is subject to Government approving progression of the Project in the first quarter of 2015.
The Probity Advisor shall provide a combination of advisory and procurement audit functions, although weighted towards the advisory services.
The established processes cover a variety of procurement activities.
Major delivery contract processes are developed on an individual basis.
