Grounds Maintenance in Lyons, Muirhead and Lee Point Road

⁠⁠⁠The work required to be performed under this Contract is the maintenance of public open space, landscaped areas and irrigation systems within the Lyons Subdivision inclusive of road reserve and other areas as defined in Section 2 Site of Works.
This shall include but not be limited to the following:

* Maintenance and repair of irrigation systems
* Repair or replacement of irrigation system required as a result of theft or vandalism (invoiced as per schedule of rates to value of $500 without authorisation)
* Mowing edging and line trimming to turf areas
* Fertilising all plantings including turf, trees, shrubs and plants to maintain healthy growth and vigour in all plantings, and maintain a record that details location of, date of application, fertiliser type and application rate.
* Pruning of trees, shrubs and plants from the ground with hand tools, including removal of epicormic growth and water shoots
* Control of weeds including weed removal or herbicide application
* Control of insect, fungal disease or animal pests
* Formative pruning and removal of all epicormic growth of trees in the centre median strips within the Lyons sub division
* Removal and treatment of suckers and self-seeded saplings
* Removal of dead trees, shrubs and plants up to a diameter breast height (DBH) of 250mm including stumps and root system
* Replenishment of mulch
* Removal and disposal of debris from drainage infrastructure, including side entry pits
* Removal of litter from parks, road reserve, drains and easements
* Removal of disposal of debris due to storm and natural disaster events
* Maintenance of sand soft fall and rubberised soft fall areas beneath play equipment including removal of all litter, weeds and reporting on the condition of soft fall
* Inspection and reporting on condition of play equipment, park furniture, garden beds, turf areas and all other infrastructure as per audit template provided by Council.
* Cleaning of Public Barbeques

All works are to be completed between 0700(7.00 AM) and 1800(6.00 PM) Monday to Friday. Weekend work may be permissible subject to written consent from the Superintendent

The woks comprise of seven portions and Tenderers are invited to submit prices for individual portions or for the whole Contract.
