Chevron Australia is seeking expressions of interest from contractors to provide Medical Services on Barrow Island (BWI) and at Onslow.
Skill set requirements over the contract will include the following:
* Medical Practitioners
* Intensive Care (IC) Paramedics
* Nurse Practitioner
* Registered Nurses
* Case Managers
* Drug and alcohol screening
Medical Service requirements include the following:
Primary Health Care
* Clinical examination
* Prescribe medication
* Dispense Medicines
* Provision of clinical advice
* Mental health advice / counselling
* Infection control / outbreak management
* Adherence to legislative requirements
Occupational Medicine
* Drug and alcohol screening
* Incident reporting and investigation
* Fitness for Duty (FFD)
* Case Management
* Other screening requirements relating to work/environmental issues
* Wellness program
Acute Medical Care
* Trauma management
* Medical clinical emergencies MI etc.
* Insertion of cannula
* Insertion of Endotracheal Tube (ETT)
* Advanced Life Support (ALS)
Mass Casualty Management
* Burns & trauma management
* Aeromedical evacuation
* Major Incident Medical Management & Support (MIMMS) commander
* Supervision
* Ability to give and take direction
* Rapid decision making
Infectious Diseases Management
* Management of individual and multiple cases
* WA Health reporting mechanism
