The project seeks to provide a two cubicle unisex public toilet facility to be located in Civic Perk Darwin.
The design concept provided may be for a traditional or automated facility. The facility will have the following attributes. Be of a high standard of finish Use environmentally sustainable fittings and fixtures Have baby change facilities included into the design. The exterior finish of the facility is to be in keeping with and sensitive to the aesthetic and heritage values of the area.
The facility design shall take into consideration Darwin's tropical climate and preference will be given to designs that deliver a high level of user comfort and provide for good airflow.
The design shall take into consideration CPTED principals.
The design shall have a view to minimizing maintenance and lifecycle costs.
