Casey Works Centre Renewal - Furniture Fitout

⁠⁠⁠Casey City Council have a workplace vision to provide Casey staff with a great place to work that empowers them and gives them choice in how and where they work to support their health, wellbeing and productivity. A Workplace Strategy has been developed to support this vision.

The Workplace Strategy is targeted to all Casey workplaces with the Civic Centre, Percy Trewin Annex (PTA) and Verdun Drive offices moving into the future Casey Cultural Precinct office and the Casey Works Centre to remain in its current location.

One of the key recommended strategies noted to introduce and implement behavioural, technological and process changes is the establishment of a pilot workplace to test elements of a flexible working model proposed by the Workplace Strategy. The pilot site forms one element of a comprehensive change management program to ensure the successful implementation of the Workplace Strategy at the Casey Cultural Precinct and Works Centre offices.

The Works Centre is currently home to 55 office staff and 45 outdoor staff who use the workspace on a daily basis. Once the Pilot Site commences an additional 35 staff will be located at the Works Centre.

The scope of works will include the furniture fitout for the entire Works Centre office which will incorporate the Pilot Site. The furniture selected for the space will need to consider the different work styles of the staff that use the space.
