SunWater requires a suitably qualified supplier who possess the capabilities, capacity and experience to undertake Electrical Works.
The three (3) 3.3kV isolator cubicles in Selma Pump Station - 3.3kV Switchyard have been identified for replacement due to the following:
* The faulty spring on the operating mechanism of the switch in one of the isolators.
* No earth switch.
* The cubicles have deteriorated and are showing signs of corrosion.
* No remote isolation of the isolators.
The main objectives of the project are to install, test and commission three (3) 3.3kV Circuit Breaker units (Schneider – Ringmaster RN2c-T2) as the replacement of the 3.3kV isolator cubicles in the switchyard and their remote switching control panel to meet the requirements of Australian Standards AS2067, AS3000 and all relevant regulations and standards.
Other objectives of this project are to assess the switchyard components and advice for reuse or replacement of equipment, these may include; Substation Transformers, Earthing System, H.V Bushings/ joints, Drop out Fuses and Insulators.
Any other works that Contractors may pick up during switchyard assessment must be submitted with Contractor price to SunWater. SunWater may decide and approve the work to be completed.
