National Science Week requires media, promotion and event services to provide communication and promotional strategy expertise that will target the specific needs of National Science Week.
The services will promote the programme and its activities ensuring that there is maximum impact in the community in raising awareness of science. This will mean that the maximum number of Australians are made aware of all that National Science Week has to offer and provides Australian communities with the best chance of participating in programme activities during National Science Week each year.
The services include writing media stories and liaising with media, developing a communications strategy, supporting the writing and distribution of materials to the media, event management and delivery and participation in National Science Week management committee meetings.
The Department invites suitably qualified contractors to submit a tender for National Science Week - Communication and Event Services.
