Supply of Hired Road Construction Plant with Operators

Tender Description
The Shire of Wiluna invites tenders to supply hired plant and equipment with competent licensed operators for the construction of specific road works arising from flood damage.
The road works are spread over an extensive area and the total value of all works covered by this tender is expected to be approx $12.0M.
The full extent of works has been broken down into four separate contract packages, i.e 4 separate contractors will be appointed to complete 4 distinct work packages;
* Package No 1 Wiluna West, Expected Value approx $ 1.5M
* Package No 2 Wiluna South, Expected Value approx $ 1.8M
* Package No 3 Wiluna NEast Expected Value approx $ 3.5M
* Package No 4 Wiluna East Expected Value approx $ 3.4M
Tenderers may bid for more than one package but no tenderer will be appointed to more than one package.
The contract works generally includes the following:
* Minor clearing
* Reconstruct road formation
* Gravel sheeting
* Maintenance grading
* Reshape/Form tabledrains and offshoot drains
* Reconstruct floodways
* Source gravel from borrow pits including clearing, topsoil stripping, removal of overburden, pushing up and stockpiling gravel and associated rehabilitation
* Construction and maintenance of turkeys nests associated with nominated water bore sources
