Tender Description
Council is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced Consultant or Consultants to undertake a review of Council’s risk management procedures and its Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) approach.
This will include a review of Council’s consequence severity matrix and assessment of Council’s existing procedures against the AS/NZS ISO31000:2009 Risk Management Principles and Guidelines, as well as providing advice in relation to the OHS approach of Bayside’s Contractor Management and OHS incident reporting.
The Consultant will be expected to provide a review of the existing risk procedures and as appropriate recommend amended procedures, templates, flowcharts and supporting material that are readily understandable to a broad audience across Council.
A training plan is also required to support delivery of the updated procedures.
The Consultant will be expected to provide advice and processes that will enable more effective management of the organisation’s approach to OHS incident reporting and Contractor Management.
Where any amendments materially affect the assessment procedure, these need to be documented and a plan provided to support the update and review of existing risk assessments.
It is proposed that this work would be completed by 7 July 2015.
Additionally, Council is seeking rates for additional Services outlined in the attached Specification.
