Tender Description
Wellington City Council has identified two water mains for replacement in Miramar: Darlington Road and Greenview Way.
The works consists of the renewal of public water mains and associated connections for two separate sections, one in public road carriageway, and one in private road carriageway/private property. The water mains vary in size from 63mmOD rider mains to 150mm uPVC pipes.
This contract specifies an open trenching methodology.
Tenders outlining alternative methodologies for replacement will be considered in accordance with clause 105.12 in the Schedule to Conditions of Tendering. Tenderers should clearly state their replacement/renewal methodology and have a clear revised Schedule of Prices included in their tender submission.
