Supply and Install a 500kVA Generator and New Mains Switchboard Upgrade to CoD Civic Centre

⁠⁠⁠The works include but are not restricted too:

* Demolition, removal and making good works within the existing Main Switchroom and courtyard as shown on electrical services drawings. Demolition of all redundant wiring systems including co-ordination with Authorities and Utilities.

* Co-ordination with Electricity Supply Authority via the electricity retailer for the provision of a new revenue meter within the new main switchboard.

* Provision of new site Main Switchboard including all switchgear and control gear, surge protection, automatic transfer switching controls and auxiliary elements.

* Provision of a power monitoring system including metering, instrumentation, monitoring device, Ethernet gateway and equipment to main switchboard and distribution boards, rising mains, cabling, terminations and programming.

* Modification of sub mains throughout the installation to complete the installation.

* Earthing systems to all accessories, outlets, equipment, switchboards and communications cabling systems in accordance with AS3000.

* Provision of new 500kVA stand-by diesel generation system, including self-bunded tank, acoustic enclosure, controls, pipework, penetrations, exhaust system, mimic panel and ancillary items.

* Provision of generator submains, including cable trays, cable ladders, supports, conduits, and controlgear, auxiliary panels and enclosures and all ancillary equipment to complete the installation.

* Testing and commissioning of the above systems.

* Maintenance and servicing, defects liability and warranty for 5 years from the date of practical completion.

A meeting with prospective Tenderers will be held at the Principal's offices:

Tenderers are strongly advised to attend.

The purpose of the meeting will be to brief Tenderers on important aspects of the Tender and an inspection of the site of the works, to clarify any aspects of the Tender Documentation and to respond to queries from Tenderers.
