Tender Description
If you run a business in the Northern Territory and own an electric vehicle (EV), you can apply for up to $2,500 to help buy and install a charger at your business property.
Applications are now open and will be administered on a first-come, first-served basis. The scheme will be reviewed in late 2025 and may be amended to achieve the NT Government’s objectives.
Who can apply
You may be eligible for this grant if:
- Your business operates from a property in the NT that is only used for business (not residential) purposes
- You either own the property or have a written agreement to use it
- You have the legal right to install a charger at the property
- You own at least one EV that:
- Will be kept (garaged) at the business property
- Is used for your business
- You haven’t already received funding for a charger for this EV
Before you apply

Chargers must be installed by an approved service provider. Search and select an approved provider using the Supplier list | GrantsNT Administration.
After you apply
Your application will not be assessed unless you provide all supporting documents. Additional requests for information may occur.
The Department will assess your application and notify you of the outcome.
