Tender Description
In order to carry out this work, the Department of Parks and Wildlife (the “Customer”) requires a Panel of Contractors for the provision of Vessel Charter (the “Services”) for their Marine Research around the Northwest Coastline from Shark Bay to the Kimberley Region in Western Australia. The charter vessels are required to have live on board facilities, tender vessels and SCUBA diving facilities for marine and island based research.
There are two (2) Service categories required which comprise:
Category 1: Provision of a charter vessel services for transportation of up to six (6) DPaW staff. Passengers may or may not camp on islands so berths are not necessarily required for some trips.
Category 1 vessels are required to have two (2) compressors (primary and backup) with current air test certificates (only on dive trips) and at least one (1) (preferably two) tender vessels in good working order; and
Category 2: Provision of a charter vessel services for transportation of up to twelve DPaW staff with onboard accommodation.
Category 2 vessels are required to have two (2) compressors (primary and backup) with current air test certificates (only on dive trips) and at least two (2) tender vessels in good working order.
