Overview:
Steelmakers which intend to provide steel sections to Browse FLNG project shall be limited to the makers listed in the 'Approved Steelmakers and Manufacturers of Rolled Steel Plates, Strip, Sections & Bars' published by Lloyd's Register (LR, Class Society), or shall be listed with the products listed in the Product Range by the time of pre-qualification.
Steel sections used for the construction of Browse FLNG shall be manufactured, tested and inspected in accordance with the requirements of the Class rules of LR.

The version of the Class rules may be changed if the latest version is published and/or ratified.
Steel sections shall be supplied with appropriate certification, a LR certificate or a manufacturer's certificate validated by LR according to the 'Rules for the Manufacture, testing and certification of Materials'.
