Tender Description

E-Gate will be a high quality, medium to high density mixed use development with CBD and water views, parklands, excellent public transport connections and access to everything the inner city offers.

At 20 hectares, E-Gate is one of the largest remaining undeveloped State-owned sites in inner metropolitan Melbourne.

E-Gate is located between key growth precincts in Docklands, West Melbourne and North Melbourne, and is at the forefront of the State’s urban renewal agenda. The redevelopment of E-Gate will deliver a new, vibrant and intensive inner-urban community combining residential, retail, commercial, community and/or other uses.

The State intends to offer the entire E-Gate site for staged development to commence as soon as possible, enabling Respondents to brand and deliver their vision for the precinct.

This Expression of Interest (EOI) invites you to demonstrate your capability and capacity to deliver this landmark redevelopment. The Government will evaluate Submissions and select a short list of exceptional development teams to be invited to participate in a subsequent Request for Proposal (RFP) stage of this process.

To receive a full copy of all documentation for the E-Gate EOI, interested parties are required to complete the attached documentation and return them to E-Gate@mpv.vic.gov.au.

Once the completed and signed documentation is received and confirmed compliant, an invitation will be sent to the supplier to view all the relevant documentation through the Vic Tenders Portal.

The Deed of Confidentially must be returned via email to E-Gate@mpv.vic.gov.au.
