DEECD in collaboration with the Victorian Curriculum Assessment Authority (VCAA) is creating a platform (Insight) for the delivery of online assessments to early childhood settings, schools and training providers across Victoria. Insight will deliver instruments that assess different aspects of learning and development of children and young adults such as educational achievement, childhood development, health & wellbeing, skill development, skill proficiency, and a variety of other interests.
 
The Insight program will deliver a number of assessments currently being delivered by DEECD and VCAA through a variety of unconnected and loosely connected online assessment delivery systems. Current assessments that will be delivered by the Insight Platform include (not exclusively) English Online Interview (EOI), Mathematics Online Interview (MOI), VCAA On Demand Testing, Abilities Based Learning and Education Support (ABLES) and Fractions and Decimals Online Interview (FDOI).
 
Briefing Meeting

A briefing session will occur Wednesday, 15 October 2014 at 3pm. Attendance at the briefing meeting is optional.
