Banyule City Council, Boroondara City Council, Knox City Council, Nillumbik Shire Council, Manningham City Council, Maroondah City Council, Monash City Council, Whitehorse City Council and Yarra Ranges Shire Council, invite tenders from suitably experienced and resourced parties for the provision of pavement and link marking services.

The nine Participating Councils are grouped into three (3) geographical areas (each a 'Region'). Each Region comprises of the municipal district of three (3) Councils. The Regions are further described below. The intention in nominating the Regions is to give the Participating Councils in each relevant Region the discretion to elect to select a single tenderer to service the whole of that Region so as to achieve greater value for money. One tender may also be selected for more than one Region if this represents the best value outcome for the relevant Participating Councils.

Each of the Participating Councils will enter a contract directly with the relevant successful tenderer. Accordingly, even if (for example) a single tenderer is appointed to one Region, each Participating Council within that Region will enter into a separate contract with that tenderer. Where a single tenderer is appointed to one or more Region, it is intended that the relevant Participating Councils within each Region will work together to coordinate scheduled programming of the Services.
