DESCRIPTION OF THE WORKS
* The Works include the following:
1 Transport and provision of all plant, equipment, materials and to undertake works
2 Travel accommodation and labour resources to undertake work
3 Site Establishment and setup
4 Provision of equipment and PPE to ensure adequate and safe access to work area to allow work to be undertaken (ie scaffolding, fall arrest systems as required)
5 Grit blast and paint two off internal and external surfaces of Hollow Jet Valve Penstock interspaces as per specification
6 Adequate controls to encapsulate and recover material from grit blasting activities
7 Post Work clean up and return area to pre work status
8 Transport of plant, equipment, materials off site
* Carry out the Works in accordance with the following:
1 Carboline Protective Coating Specification TG-2014-122136
2 Drawing number 33271A Section EE
3 Drawing number 33268A
* In addition to the above:
1 provide fencing, hoardings and warning notices;
2 remove from the Site all rubbish, debris, rubble, hazardous substances and other items not salvaged or preserved.
