The sewage and trade waste generated from homes and businesses in Colac is treated at the Colac Water Reclamation Plant (WRP) in Treatment Works Road at the north eastern edge of the town. The biological treatment process utilised has experienced increased flow and organic loads over the last 2-3 years resulting in the need for an upgrade.

The objective of the Colac WRP upgrade is to provide additional treatment capacity to accommodate existing flows and loads as well as a capacity allowance for expected growth into the future.

This notice is to advise potential tenderer's of the project in advance of the upcoming public tender.
