The Expression of Interest scope is for the purchase of redundant assets currently installed at the Barcaldine Power Station including - Stal Laval 18 MW Steam Turbine / Condenser, John Thompson Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG), the associated auxiliary systems, /LV electrical and automated control equipment.

The purchase price offered shall include all costs associated with disassembly, packaging, and removal from site. The equipment to be removed will be fully detailed in Attachment 1 of the Tender Pack.

The contract will also include all works to “make good” the site after completion of all works at site by the contractor. This shall include damage to roads, structures and services that may be damaged by deconstruction and demolition work. Due to the nature and complexity of the Scope of Works associated with this Expression of  Interest Ergon Energy will stage this EOI process to determine interested parties, asset value and cost of minor reinstatement works.

STAGE ONE
Tenderers are requested to respond to the EOI by providing initial acceptance of attendance to a “Compulsory Site Visit” at Barcaldine Power Station 57150 Capricorn Highway Barcaldine QLD 4750 – Details are attached to the Tender Pack.

All costs associated with the Compulsory Site Visit are the Contractors responsibility.

After attendance to the Compulsory Site Visit tenderers will be required to provide responses to the Tender Documents/Schedules before the closing date of Tender as outlined in item 11 “Lodgement of Tenders” below.

Ergon Energy will Evaluate and Short List Tender Submissions.

STAGE TWO
If Ergon Energy proceeds to Stage Two - Short Listed Contractors will then be invited to engage in a formal negotiation process.
