240V and 110V Battery Replacement at Vales Point Power Station

Tender Description
To improve the stations DC system and make it reliable.
a) Supply, install, charging and commission a 240V Pasted Plate type 1250AHr battery @ 1hr rate to 1.77V/cell to replace the existing Unit 5 240V Plante’ 1250AHr @ 1 hr rate battery.(please provide details of tendered battery in schedule 3-18)
b) Supply, install, charging and commission a 240V Pasted Plate type 1250AHr battery @ 1hr rate to 1.77V /cell to replace the existing Unit 6 240V Plante’ 1250AHr @ 1 hr rate battery. ( please provide details of tendered battery in schedule 3-18)
c) Supply, install, charging and commission a 110V Pasted Plate type 150AHr battery @ 1hr rate to 1.77V /cell to replace the existing Unit 6A 110V Plante’ 150AHr @ 1 hr rate battery. ( please provide details of tendered battery in schedule 3-18)
d) Charging, commissioning and capacity test of each battery.
e) Repair of floor in both the Unit 5 and Unit 6 battery rooms.
f) Replacement of the Unit 6 50V battery stand with new.
g) Change out the good cells identified by Delta from the removed 6A 110V battery and install into the other 3 110V batteries to replace failed cells identified by Delta.
h) Removal and recycle off site the old used cells.
i) Install battery isolating switch on 6A 110V battery identical to that used on 6B 110V battery.
