Tenders are invited for Contract No. 2014.27. This project is a strategic planning exercise that will review the current provision of trails within the project area (the local government authority areas of the Cities of Hobsons Bay, Brimbank, Maribyrnong, Melton, Moonee Valley and Wyndham) and establish a plan to address gaps in provision.

It will determine key strategic links and establish an understanding for planning, feasibility, design standards, capital works and staging of trail projects. It will identify opportunities for consistency in maintenance, trail quality, marketing and management of trails across the region. The plan will cover the period 2013 – 2023.

Hobsons Bay City Council is the lead agency acting on behalf of the western metropolitan region local government authorities for this project.
