Wilcannia Water Supply and Sewerage Augmentation (2012) – Civil Works

⁠⁠⁠Tenders are invited from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the Wilcannia Water Supply and Sewerage Augmentation (2012) – Civil Works.

The work is comprised of sewerage reticulation and pumping station works for the Mallee and Warrali Aboriginal Estates, a new inlet structure at the Wilcannia STP, upgrade to Warrali PS No.2 and a new raw water rising main.

A mandatory pre-tender meeting is scheduled for Tuesday 14th January 2014 and this meeting will require access to Wilcannia Aboriginal Lands Council (WALC) land. Prospective tenderers will require the prior permission of WALC to enter onto WALC land for this meeting. Please contact WALC directly on 08 8091 5828 in this regard.

Tender documents are available at Council’s Engineering Office at 52 Myers Street, Wilcannia for a non-refundable fee of $100 (inc. GST) or available free on the CDSC website.

Tenders may only be submitted by the means described in the tender documents and must be received by the closing time. Late tenders will not be accepted.

Tenders submitted by mail must be in a plain, sealed envelope, on which are printed only the words ‘Contract Number CDSC 1/2014 – Wilcannia Water Supply and Sewerage Augmentation (2012) – Civil Works’, and are to be placed in the Tender Box, 21 Reid Street, Wilcannia, prior to the closing time of 9.30am, Friday, 31st January 2014.

Tender submission is also permitted electronically and by facsimile.

Tenders in envelopes which do not have the required words printed on them, or which have the Company Name or any other writing on them, will not be considered by Council.

The lobbying or liaison with Councillors prior to consideration of tenders by Council will lead to the rejection of the offending tender. Tenders are to be submitted on the tender form supplied with the tender documents, which are available by contacting the Engineering and Technical Services Department, telephone 08 8083 8800.
