Widening and Overlay of Great Eastern Highway from Bullabulling to Coolgardie (Shire of Coolgardie)

⁠⁠⁠The Project Works include all investigation, design and construction required to widen and overlay Great Eastern Highway between Bullabulling and Coolgardie for a length of some 35 km. The Project Works also include the provision of several passing lanes and a parking bay.

National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry & the Guidelines: The National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry, in conjunction with the Building Code 2013, applies to this project. This document is available at www.deewr.gov.au/BuildingCode.

Australian Government Building and Construction OHS Accreditation Scheme: It is a requirement of this project that any persons contracted to undertake the building work be accredited under the Australian Government Building and Construction OHS Accreditation Scheme established by the Building and Construction Industry Improvement Act 2005, at the time of the Tender closing for the building work and while the building work is being carried out.

A NON-MANDATORY Pre-tender briefing will be held sometime during the week commencing 6 January 2014 at Coolgardie town site, followed by a joint tour of the site.
