Overview
The University of Wollongong is seeking a provider to deliver a Student Financial Counselling Service to all onshore University of Wollongong students, two days per week, based at the Wollongong Campus.
Scope
The scope includes:
- Provision of confidential one-on-one financial counselling appointments to assist students experiencing financial hardship, debt, budgeting difficulties, financial stress, credit issues, or other financial challenges
- Provision of face-to-face appointments at the UOW Wollongong campus
- Ensuring service accessibility for students at regional and metropolitan campuses through remote service delivery methods, including telephone and online appointments
- Offering flexible appointment arrangements to accommodate students' study commitments, employment, and other competing responsibilities
- Delivery of group-based financial education workshops designed to improve students' financial literacy, capability, and financial management skills
- Development and delivery of workshop topics relevant to the needs of tertiary students, including budgeting, managing debt, cost-of-living pressures, consumer rights, and financial wellbeing
- Delivery of workshops either in person or online to maximise student access and participation
- Provision of information, advice, advocacy, referrals, and support to enable students to make informed financial decisions and improve financial wellbeing
Contract Terms and Conditions
- Respondents are asked to provide a quote for delivery of services for 2027, 2028 and 2029
