Overview
Services Australia is seeking a minimum of one Senior Software Engineer (EL1) to provide technical leadership on software development projects, with a focus on SAP BODS.
The Role
The role includes:
- Overseeing software development projects and providing technical leadership to a team of software engineers
- Writing optimised code and being responsible for the quality and functionality of the software produced by the team
- Working with SAP BODS, an ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) platform that integrates, cleanses, and loads data from multiple sources into target systems such as SAP HANA, SAP BW, or non-SAP data warehouses, combining data integration, data quality, data profiling, and data processing in a single solution
- Engaging in the design and development of high-quality solutions in support of business and technical requirements
- Leading software development projects, including managing planning, development and construction activities
- Evaluating and resolving complex issues within Agile development and production environments
Role Requirements
- Experience overseeing software development projects and providing technical leadership to a team of software engineers
- Experience writing optimised code
- Experience utilising SAP BODS, including data integration, data quality, data profiling, and data processing
- Experience evaluating and resolving complex issues within Agile development and production environments
