Overview
North Sydney Council is seeking a contractor to provide security services for Council events held across the North Sydney Local Government Area.
Scope
The scope includes:
- Bag searches
- Managing pedestrian access gates
- Intoxication management
- Traffic management
- Property protection
- Crowd and queue management
- Roaming guard duties
- Security services for planned events
- Recurring event security services
- Emergency or ad hoc security requirements
- Other Council security services ordered by Council from time to time
Contractor Requirements
- For New Year's Eve and other nominated events, the Contractor must work collaboratively with the Council appointed event operator, event management contractor, or Council-authorised representative, while acknowledging Council remains the Principal under the Contract

Events will be held across the North Sydney Local Government Area, including but not limited to:
- Event: New Year's Eve
- Facility: Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability
