Hybrid Mass Spectrometer

⁠⁠⁠Overview

The University of Auckland requires a MALDI imaging-capable hybrid mass spectrometer coupled with a UPLC liquid chromatography system.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Supply of a MALDI imaging-capable hybrid mass spectrometer
• Supply of a coupled UPLC liquid chromatography system

Contractor Requirements

• Instrument must be robust and tolerate a high level of usage
• Instrument must have multiple ion source options
• Instrument is expected to have excellent sensitivity
• Instrument must have the ability to select for desired ions
• Instrument must be operable in a number of scan modes, maximising possible analysis applications
• Ion mobility analysis is a highly desirable feature, but not mandatory
