450mm Trunk Water Main - Thurgoona Drive

⁠⁠⁠Overview

Albury City Council invites suitably qualified tenderers to submit a tender for the 450mm Trunk Water Main upon the conditions detailed in the RFT.

Purpose

Albury City Council requires a robust and reliable water supply system to meet current and future demand associated with the growth of the Thurgoona–Wirlinga Precinct.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Construction of a new 450mm trunk water main
• Connection to the existing 600mm main along Elizabeth Mitchell Drive
• Connection to the existing 300mm main near the Table Top Road roundabout
• Provision of critical network resilience by offering a backup supply pathway for key water infrastructure
• Provision for future sideline interconnections to support ongoing development and improve overall system flexibility

Objectives

• Enhance the security and reliability of water supply to the Thurgoona–Wirlinga Growth Precinct
• Help alleviate existing low service pressure issues currently experienced in parts of the Thurgoona area
