Overview
Tablelands Regional Council (TRC) invites suitably qualified and licensed contractors to provide services for the decommissioning and collection of gases, including LPG cylinders, across Council Transfer Stations.
Objectives
The objective of this contract is to ensure that all pressurised cylinders are safely removed from the waste stream and managed in accordance with Queensland legislation, including the Petroleum and Gas (Production and Safety) Act 2004 and Safety Regulation 2018, and applicable Australian Standards (AS 2030 series).
Scope
The scope includes:
- Decommissioning and collection of gases, including LPG cylinders, across Council Transfer Stations
A detailed scope of services, site locations, and performance requirements are provided in Part 5, Scope.
Contractor Requirements
- Suitably qualified and licensed to decommission and collect pressurised gas cylinders
- Compliance with the Petroleum and Gas (Production and Safety) Act 2004 and Safety Regulation 2018
- Compliance with applicable Australian Standards (AS 2030 series)
Contract Terms and Conditions
- Initial contract term of three (3) years
- Two (2) further extension options of one (1) year each, exercisable at the sole discretion of TRC
- Maximum total term of five (5) years
