Golden Bay High School - Site; Hardstanding Repairs

The Ministry of Education (NZ) is seeking a contractor to carry out hardstanding repair works at Golden Bay High School, focusing on the Northwest area of the school site.

About

The school has had substantial refurbishment works completed throughout the last 4 years, including the redeveloped Tech Block. This project represents the completion of that broader works programme by addressing the hardstanding around the Northwest area of the section, which has not been touched in a long time.

Purpose

The works are intended to resurface and re-level the Northwest hardstanding area to prepare it for a tennis court, while visually improving the site and improving drainage and speed control.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Re-surfacing works in the form of asphalting to the Northwest hardstanding area
• Re-levelling areas to prepare the site for a tennis court
• Visual improvements to the site
• Improvements to drainage
• Improvements to speed control
