Overview
Barkly Regional Council invites competitive tenders from suitably qualified and experienced solar photovoltaic (PV) installers for the design, supply, and installation of a grid-connected solar PV system at Tennant Creek Pool and Gym (TCPG), located at 82 Ambrose Street, Tennant Creek, Northern Territory.
Purpose
The Council's primary objective is to maximise on-site solar self-consumption in order to reduce grid electricity costs at this facility. Battery storage is not required at this stage.
Scope
The scope includes:
- Design of a grid-connected solar PV system for Tennant Creek Pool and Gym
- Supply of the solar PV system and associated equipment
- Installation of the solar PV system and associated works
Contractor Requirements
- Suitably qualified and experienced as a solar PV installer
- Demonstrated experience with PowerWater Corporation (PWC) embedded generation approvals
- Demonstrated experience with Northern Territory commercial solar installations
