Overview
The Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) is seeking a Mainframe Software Engineer (Developer) to support the Team Leader in the development, maintenance, enhancement, and support of applications within the AEC's ICT environment.
The Role
- Supporting the Team Leader in the day-to-day development, maintenance, enhancement, and support of applications in the AEC's ICT environment
- Participating in section planning for short term tasks
- Contributing to strategic planning for longer term initiatives
- Undertaking work that is moderately complex to complex and/or sensitive in nature, under limited direction
- Utilising expertise and knowledge in designing software applications to meet the AEC's needs
Role Requirements
- Must hold a Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance prior to commencement
