Overview
IP Australia requires a Senior Technical Lead to support cloud enablement, infrastructure transformation and operational improvement activities across AWS and Azure environments.
The Role
The role will operate as a senior hands-on technical lead. The scope includes:
- Providing technical leadership, architecture development, remediation support, operational uplift and capability building
- Delivering agreed cloud and infrastructure transformation priorities
- Addressing technical debt and impediments, and improving platform stability and supportability
- Strengthening APS capability through mentoring, coaching, documentation and knowledge transfer
- Working with IP Australia teams to develop practical technical recommendations, architecture artefacts, roadmaps, standards, decision records, runbooks and support documentation
- Supporting completion of priority AWS and cloud transformation activities
- Developing migration, optimisation and operational uplift roadmaps
- Providing technical advice across cloud, infrastructure and platform services
Instructions to Tenderers
During the evaluation stage, shortlisted suppliers may be invited to participate in interviews. IP Australia retains the right to seek verbal or written feedback from referees and may enter into negotiations to obtain the Best and Final Offer (BAFO) from selected suppliers. Should a provider modify any specified resources or business operations, the Commonwealth also reserves the authority to conduct a comprehensive review of personnel prior to finalising the contract.
