The Department of Customer Service (DCS) is seeking an authorised Broadcom VMware partner or reseller to provide subscription licensing, maintenance and production support for a consolidated enterprise VMware environment, for a term of 1+1 years.

Scope

• Provision of VMware subscription licensing, maintenance and production support for DCS's consolidated enterprise VMware environment

Objectives

The project aims to:

• Ensure continuity of VMware subscription licensing, maintenance and vendor support for business critical platforms and services
• Deliver value for money through competitive commercial arrangements and effective licence management
• Optimise licence utilisation and consumption across the consolidated VMware estate
• Strengthen software asset management, governance, reporting and licence compliance capabilities
• Support hybrid infrastructure environments spanning on-premises and cloud-based workloads while maintaining operational flexibility
• Minimise operational, security and compliance risks associated with unsupported, expired or under-licensed VMware products
• Provide access to Broadcom/VMware technical expertise, support services, incident escalation, maintenance updates and strategic roadmap guidance
• Maintain flexibility to accommodate future workload growth, cloud adoption initiatives, infrastructure modernisation activities and evolving platform strategies

Contractor Requirements

• Authorised Broadcom VMware partner or reseller status
• Demonstrated proven capability in VMware licensing, software asset management, enterprise support services and licence optimisation to ensure the ongoing stability, compliance and effectiveness of the DCS VMware environment
