Sadadeen Complex - Disposal of Decommissioned Transformers

Power and Water Corporation (PWC) is disposing of decommissioned electricity transformers and gbs from the Sadadeen Complex. The assets have been oil drained and are ready for dismantling.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Disposal of decommissioned transformers and gbs, with oil drained and identified as containing no PCB oil
• Loading of the transformers and gbs during collection and transportation
• Transportation of the transformers and gbs from the Sadadeen Complex
• Ensuring no environmental impact occurs during loading, collection, and transportation

Contractor Requirements

• Contractor to provide a skilled forklift driver, noting that PWC Stores can provide the forklift for use during loading
• PWC Stores staff will monitor and supervise the loading and collection process
