Overview
Sunshine Coast Council is seeking provision of utility inspection services relating to power, water, lighting and communications services for three Major Transportation Projects being undertaken by the Council.
Scope
The scope includes:
- Provision of utility inspection services relating to power, water, lighting and communications services for three Major Transportation Projects
- Leading and managing the planning, investigation, design coordination, procurement, construction, relocation, protection, commissioning and handover of third-party utility services associated with a major road infrastructure project
- Acting as the primary interface between the project team and utility stakeholders
- Identifying, assessing, protecting, modifying or relocating existing utility assets, including water, sewer, stormwater, electricity, gas, telecommunications, fibre networks and street lighting, to support project delivery while maintaining service continuity, public safety and regulatory compliance
- Developing and executing the utility works strategy
- Managing utility risks
- Securing approvals and agreements
- Coordinating design interfaces
- Administering utility works contracts
- Ensuring utility relocations are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget
- Integrating utility works into the broader project construction program to minimise impacts to stakeholders and avoid delays to project delivery
