Overview
Services Australia is seeking a Commercial Project Manager with procurement expertise to manage the transition project delivery of resultant new technology software contracts into business-as-usual operations.
The Role
The Seller will provide the agency with a Commercial Project Manager who will:
- Work with key APS staff and subject matter experts to integrate, coordinate and provide oversight on all aspects of commercial and technical transition in/out activities, ensuring delivery of Agency dependencies while minimising risk and business disruption
- Lead the delivery of the commercial construct, sourcing dependencies and delivery outputs for a high-value, high-risk technology procurement, ensuring project goals, governance obligations, timeframes, value-for-money outcomes and contract transition milestones are met
- Manage the planning, coordination and delivery of the relevant commercial negotiations, evaluation outputs, decision records, implementation artefacts and transition deliverables, and manage strategic stakeholders and commercial partners to ensure the procurement outcome can be effectively implemented, integrated and transitioned into service
- Manage the transition of resultant technology software contracts into business-as-usual operations, with a strong focus on commercial readiness, supplier mobilisation, service transition, risk controls and operational acceptance
- Manage project outputs relating to pricing and licensing analysis, contract mobilisation, service acceptance, transition planning, governance and risk management, while minimising operational risk, supplier dependency risk and business disruption
