Tender Description
Overview
Nelson City Council is seeking a competent and experienced supplier to deliver noise control services.
Purpose
It is a requirement for Nelson City Council under section 31(1)(d) of the Resource Management Act 1991 (the RMA) (statutory requirement) to provide noise control services that involve controlling the emission of noise and the mitigation of the effects of noise. A major component of this function is the control of excessive noise.
Scope
The scope includes:
- Delivery of noise control services in accordance with the Resource Management Act 1991, Excessive Noise, Section 326-329
- Service delivery Monday to Thursday, 4:30 pm to 8:00 am
- Service delivery Friday to Monday, 4:30 pm Friday to 8:00 am Monday

- Competent and experienced in delivering noise control services
